To make your initial appointment at Selby Psychological Services, please read the information below and print and complete the forms (at the bottom of this page) to bring with you to your initial appointment. Appointment Times Appointments are available 9am - 4:30pm during the week as well as evening and weekend hours. Please call 207-262-9009 to schedule a convenient time. Fees, Insurance, and Payment Fees The current fee for a 45 minute initial diagnostic interview is $150.00. This initial one time evaluation is an in-depth psychological assessment of your current functioning which provides diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Following this initial session, the current fee for ongoing 45 minute sessions with a psychologist for individual psychotherapy, couples therapy or family therapy is $100.00.
You may only pay a portion (e.g., co-payment, co-insurance) of the contracted fee rate depending on your insurance coverage (see below for contracted organizations). You may have to pay the entire fee amount if your insurance plan has a significant deductible for mental health services. All fees are due at time of service which is customary. We highly recommend researching your insurance mental health benefits as discussed in the Insurance section below. You can also make a secure online payment for services with your Visa or Master Card through Instamed. Pre-authorization with insurance is required. Please have your insurance card and numbers available when scheduling an appointment. PsychAdmin Partners will conduct pre-authorization and provide that information to Selby Psychological Services so that you may be aware of your co-payment, deductible etc. at the time of service. We highly suggest that you also call your insurance personally to obtain this information. As mentioned above, you may investigate your mental health benefits with our Insurance Worksheet and the clickable insurance contact links below. Currently Dr. Brian Selby is a credentialed provider with the following insurance companies (if you do not find your insurance company below you may still be able to see Dr. Selby with "out of network" benefits--contact your insurance company regarding this option): Please refer to your individual insurance policy for details on co-payment, co-insurance, deductibles etc. as applicable. Credentialing with several other insurance companies is currently pending. Please check back frequently to check credentialed insurance companies as they are added. If your health insurance company is not listed Selby Psychological Services can provide you with information to submit to your insurance carrier which may or may not cover services. Payment
Payment is expected at the time services are provided. The full fee is due at the time of your appointment (or your copay if you are using insurance).
